Why MergeGlass exists
Comparing two versions of a file should not require an installation, an account, or handing your code to a remote service. MergeGlass keeps the workflow in the browser: load two files, review each changed block, choose A, B, or both, then copy or download the result.
More power when you need it
The default workflow stays simple, while optional controls add pasted-text editing, whitespace and case rules, semantic JSON and YAML comparison, compact unchanged context, unified diff export, three-way merging, local workspace recovery, and offline installation.
Free to use, supported by content
The comparison workspace is free and does not require an account. Informational pages may carry restrained advertising to help fund hosting and continued development. Advertising code is kept out of the editor route where files and pasted text are processed.
